Request for tender: Best practice manual for growing pomegranates in Australia

The AgriFutures Emerging Industries Program is seeking services to develop a best practice manual for commercial production of pomegranates in Australia.

The development of a best practice manual has been identified as a priority by the industry in the Australian Pomegranate Industry Strategic Plan 2021-2026, due to be published in late 2021.

Pomegranate was identified as a target industry for new research investment in 2021/22. Target industries were identified after a review of all current Emerging Industries.

Producer Technology Uptake Program

Building on the success of the 2021 pilot, AgriFutures Australia is again offering producer groups who represent farmers, fishers and foresters, funding to deliver a bespoke capacity development program to support their members to adopt technology solutions within their business.
